The Gordonston Ladies Dog Walking Club

The Gordonston Ladies Dog Walking Club - Duncan Whitehead "Colorful characters that keep you guessing...mysterious locked doors...phony friendships...memories of days gone by...and a hit man. A whole neighborhood of seemingly normal folks; each one with their own secrets and hidden agenda. This book will keep you guessing until the very end. Recommended for anyone who enjoys a good murder mystery, peppered with bits of dark humor. I enjoyed every minute of it!"

Parkinson's Disease Looking Down the Barrel

Parkinson's Disease Looking Down the Barrel - Richard Secklin Heartbreaking at times, yet so informative...
A must read for anyone with Parkinson's or someone who cares for a loved one with the disease.

Daughter of Time: A Time Travel Romance

Daughter of Time: A Time Travel Romance - Sarah Woodbury
I love historical-fiction/romance/time-travel novels...and this book was almost all of that.

The time travel idea was great, the historical fiction was interesting - most of the time, but I just wish there had been more romance between the prince of Wales and the leading lady. I was always under the impression that books labeled romance should not only have a LOT of romance woven throughout the story, but as a rule, should have a happy ending.

"Spoilers"
Towards the end of the book, when Meg heard that POP, I was positive that her water broke, and completely surprised at what happened instead.
Needless to say, I wasn't crazy about the ending - until I discovered that this book was actually the prequel to a whole series. I'm thinking that the sad ending may make more sense once I get farther into the series. (at least I hope it does!)

That being said, I am willing to read more of Sarah Woodbury's books in the future...and I do recommend Daughter of Time to anyone interested in this type of genre.

Feels Like the First Time

Feels Like the First Time - Shawn Inmon Highly recommended for anyone who loves a good romance story. I felt like I just took a journey through time...and experienced all over again the awesome angst of young love, the heartbreak of lost love, and the wonderful joy of finding true love after a lifetime of missing it... What a great love story! AND, it's all true!

JETT

JETT - Dana Pratola Great love story!

Rabbits in the Garden

Rabbits in the Garden - Jessica McHugh Rabbits in the Garden is one of those books you can't stop reading for many reasons, however, more than anything, you hope that Avery gets the revenge (or justice) she so deserves.
Jessica comes through with flying colors! Revenge, justice, a few surprises, and a twist that knocks you to the ground...love it! Looking forward to more from Jessica McHugh.

Follow the River

Follow the River - James Alexander Thom This book was awesome. It's one of those stories that make you feel like YOU ARE THERE, and it sticks with you for years afterwards. For the longest time, whenever I stepped out of the shower and felt chilled, I'd remember how Mary felt tromping through the forests; cold, wet, and freezing.

The Time Traveler's Wife

The Time Traveler's Wife - Audrey Niffenegger Loved this book!
